new wings.

i went to a memorial for my friend, mia, who passed recently. her best friend held a butterfly release for her, and it was beautiful.

i think when i die, instead of having any sort of big funeral, i want people to donate towards helping any hurting wild bird get back on its wings, so to speak. releasing anything in the air helps me to feel comfort, and what better than to help a magnificent creature fly? that might be just me, but i think it would be a wonderful sight.
